I have bought several items that are out of date from here. The last time was a couple of weeks ago, I purchased some Polly-O cheese sticks. As my daughter and I were leaving the parking lot we each opened one and I took one bite and it didn't taste right and my daughter had taken two bites and she said the same thing. So we looked at the date and it was January 17, 2017 which would make them 7 months past the date to be sold much less eaten. I immediately turned around went back to the store returned it went to get another package and the next two packages had the same date on them so I brought them to the front of the store with me handed them to the cashier. I was never offered a refund, an extra package or any type of reimbursement for what I had just purchased which was almost a year out of date. Other local grocery stores would've offered one of those options. Needless to say, I have not shopped there since.
Excellent finger sandwiches that we order for celebrations. The tuna is white and flavorful, chicken is tasty and the egg salad is perfect. My thanks to Lisa, great gal to deal with!
I love Food City! It is a small grocery store but well stocked, including organic and gluten free items. They have the cheapest meat prices and the best doughnuts in town.
Strait up and honest. Good people and friendly too. I have been going there for years and I have nothing bad to say about them. I still will go back for years to come.
It's easy to get there when you cannot drive right now. lottery ticket machine inside in nice, no waiting in line to buy tickets there anymore. The groceries are higher priced then some of the smaller stores around that same area. Go right next door to Family Dollar store & save a buck or more on the same identical Items.
