St. Albans has had some new restaurants lately, but don't forget our good neighbors at One Federal. The food is still great. I had their smoked pork shoulder last night and it's about the best I've ever had. Ignore the street construction and go visit them again.
Food was ill prepared on our first experience, but on our second it was favorable. So in all a mediocre spot!
We were then told that Katy and Jamie are the new owners. We highly recommend you try it and see for yourself ! Good luck !
We visited Federal One yesterday for a late lunch to celebrate our friends birthday. We had a wonderful meal, something to please every palate...our server was delightful even though it was very busy.
I have been a fan of One Federal for many years but haven't been in a while. Went last night, the best thing was the outdoor seating. We had the Prime Rib Roll, this was lacking the Prime Rib...just a whole lot of cheese, maybe they should change the name. The burger was over done and the apple on top were very overcooked as well, no color or crunch at all. The Brussel Sprout Salad was good. The menu has changed and the pricing is a bit higher than in the past. I'm not going to rush back any time soon. I'm really bummed, this was a favorite.
Terrible menu. Food is not that great. Staff is good, and courteous. They need better menu options and work on the delivery of the meal.
